https://fishingtourism.org collects personal information with your registration and when you submit a listing (Fishing Trip). You can register and submit your fishing trip as a captain by completing the required forms.
Captains and Guests
Captains
When you create a Captain account, a profile page will be created for you. Your Captain Account profile page will include your first name and last name, other information you have provided during your registration, and a biography and links to your Fishing Trips. You can select other personal information that you wish to be included in your profile page including but not limited to a profile picture or other information about you. We will display your profile information on your page publicly via the https://fishingtourism.org and on third party sites like social media. Any information you choose to provide as part of your profile Information will be publicly visible to all users. It is recommended that you guard your sensitive information. You can review and revise your profile information at any time.
If you post a Fishing Trip, it may be published publicly to third party sites or social media. The geographical location of your Boat (Trip Starting Point) will be also visible in the form of a map to potential users.
Guests
When you create a Guest account, a profile page will be created for you. Your profile page will include your first name and last name and other information you may have provided during your registration. You can select other personal information that you wish to be included in your profile page, including but not limited to a profile picture or other information. Any information you choose to provide as part of your profile information will be visible to Captains with whom you choose to interact and on any public reviews you post. It is recommended that you guard your sensitive information. You can review and revise your profile information at any time.
Confidentiality
Except for any personall information we may collect from you under the guidelines in https://fishingtourism.org Privacy Policy, any content posted to https://fishingtourism.org will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
